Drop Shot is Working a Little

Fished with Craig today.
Craig got his first fish ever on a jigging spoon and had two others get off.
I managed 2 nice spots drop shotting under the power lines in 60' of water.

Water temp was high 50's to low 60's.
Cold start to the day but it made it to 55 degrees.
Not bad for January.

The water temps range from 58 to 63 degrees.

The last few trips I have fished hard and can only scratch up a few bites which leads to a 2-3 fish outing.

The last trip I caught 3 drop shotting at my last stop in 60' of water.  It was the only bites I got after fishing for 3 hours with now sniffs.



The bite was very light and I lost a few other fish in this school.

The previous outing I caught one fish on a point with a Yamamoto Spider grub.

It's more like hunting than fishing right now.
